Clinton Properties
The quaint town of Clinton, NJ is home to many charming examples of centuries-old colonial architecture. It's also where I was fortunate enough to grow up, and have the opportunity to come back for an internship with Clinton Properties, LLC.
Working closely with a dedicated team of four other construction and realtor professionals, I was tasked with designing renovations for a mixed-used building in the historic downtown. It was valuable experience to face real-world construction problems, and overcome them by learning to resolve situations on site. Adapting to the existing conditions generated a more functional and appropriate design. Although the summer went by quickly, there was still enough time to create a base set of renovation drawings to be reviewed, and ultimately approved, by a town inspector.
